Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Vagina: A Rare Presentation

Primary small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the vagina is a very rare disease. We present case study 52-year-old female who presented to hospital with complaints urinary dribbling, burning micturition, pain, and per vaginal bleeding for three four months. A firm globular mass approximately 5-6 cm was felt in anterior wall speculum examination. Diagnosis made tissue biopsy immunohistochemistry. Diagnostic imaging (MRI, positron emission tomography (PET)-CT) plays vital role reaching diagnosis understanding treatment response. The patient received six cycles chemotherapy cisplatin etoposide radiotherapy, achieving complete response, regression lesion. had no sign tumor recurrence locoregional or distant metastases after months follow-up. Nowadays, there need surgery carcinoma, rather radiotherapy are choice. report cancer treated at our institution.
